> Architect, editor and curator, working where architecture, design and storytelling meet.

Graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute (MARCHI) in 2012. Spent seven years as a lead architect at SVESMI (2011–2018), working on the [modernisation of Moscow's public libraries](/work/moscow-libraries), the [laboratories](/work/polytechnic-museum-laboratories) and [library of the Polytechnic Museum](/work/polytechnic-museum-library), and the [façades and unit mix of a residential building](/work/the-amsterdam-zilart).

In 2020 co-founded the studio [mashaxpasha](/studio) with [Pavel Rueda](/studio/team/pavel-rueda), and leads the concept and design of each project: from the first idea to construction drawings, from choosing materials to the point where a space explains itself.

In 2021 co-founded [mtrl.io](https://mtrl.io), a B2B platform for the design industry. Also teaches and writes about architecture and materials, not as a sideline but as a way of thinking out loud.
